The third mobility of the Erasmus+ Project “European Path (e)Motion” - KA219 Strategic Partnership for Schools only – 2017-1-EL01-KA219-036151 – took place in Greece from 05th to 11th May 2019, as planned in the project and during the second transnational meeting. The programme organized by Senior High School of Thesprotiko “Vasileios Zormpas”– the host school, included the following activities:

FREE AFTERNOON

SATURDAY, 11th May 2019 – Departure of participants
Monday
Welcoming of the delegations by the students and teachers of the school. The formal inauguration of the meeting started by the Head teacher Mr A. Katsanakis and the substitute mayor Mr Z. Rempis. The students guided the foreign students to the school, they presented the weekly program and the Greek educational system.
Next, we had the first workshop “healthy diet” at the women’s association in Thesprotiko who welcomed the students warmly and with their help, the students prepared pies which they later had for lunch. Meanwhile, students were guided in Thesprotiko by playing “The treasure hunt” game and other psychokinetic meeting games.
In the afternoon, the students followed the Byzantine path in Arta, where they were guided by the archeologist of the Ephorate  of Antiquities of Arta, Mr D. Sakkas.
Tuesday
The morning was dedicated to the action “Nature Lab”. Along the local paths the students filled in worksheets about biology, physics, chemistry geology which were prepared by the school teachers and associates. The students with the help of the “Red Zero Path” application followed the route : Roman aqueduct – St George forest – springs, water mill – Red clay “Kokkinopilos” – Ziros Lake.
Later, the students were welcomed at the Town Hall of the municipality of Ziros.
In the afternoon, they followed the “Naturalistic Path” at Amvrakikos Gulf where they were guided by an expert of Amvrakikos Management Body. They did bird watching, hiking on the paths which divide the sea from the lagoons and met the traditional way of fishing of Amvrakikos.
Wednesday
In relation to the Archeological Path, the students visited the archeological site of Dodona, exactly where the European Path E6 is. At the ancient theatre they had an “accoustics” lab by Mrs E. Vasileiou, archeologist of the Ephorate of Antiquities of Ioannina. During the lab the students of the Senior High School of Thesprotiko performed part of Euripides’ tradegy “Eleni”. After that, there was a guided tour by the archeologist.
Later students visited Ioannina where they had the chance to take a tour of the city and have lunch.
In the afternoon they went to Zagorochoria where they crossed the path of “co-existence”, from Vitsa to Kokoris bridge under the instructions of a mountain leader.
Thursday
In terms of the Historic Path, students visited the archeological site and the museum of Nicopolis by the help of Mr Moustakis, archeologist of the Ephorate of Antiquities of Preveza.
Later, the students visited Preveza enjoying its beauties.
In the afternoon, they visited the area of Glyki and Acheron river. There, they did sport activities such as horse riding, archery, hiking and rafting.
Friday
The last day of the mobility was held at the school where the students took part in labs and presentations. Each delegation presented the sport activities that people do around at the paths in their country, a full menu with traditional – healthy products and a study book with herbs of medical use which can be spotted along the paths. Also, each delegation presented the digital application of mapping local paths and the tourist leaflet which accompanies it.
Finally, all the participants assessed the program and in national teams they presented their thoughts and reflected on the two-year project. The day closed with the good-bye ceremony that the students of the Senior High School of Thesprotiko had prepared.
