Carmelina Longo, a teacher of English Language and Culture at the Liceo Scientifico and Linguistico of Giardini Naxos, is a qualified educator both in English and German Studies. Her interest in culture and literature is bound to the attention for the environmental aspects of human action and influence on nature and landscape. She works on projects combining the protection of cultural and historical sites with the promotion of local literature and arts. Her expertise in the international aspects of education allows her to meet the students' need for multicultural knowledge and understanding in a crucial time in terms of cultural diversity and changing international perspectives.

The second person involved in the project is Fulvia Toscano. She is a teacher of Humanities (Italian, Latin, Greek and History), she is particularly skilled in the organisation of cultural and social events and gives particular attention to the interconnection between school and local institutions.

Francesca Lanzafame is a teacher of English constantly working for her students’ evolution and intellectual growth with passion and competence.  

Giusy Costantino is a teacher of Maths and Physics, also interested in environmental issues and social development in the area of Giardini Naxos and Taormina.
